FIFA 12 enters the new year on a high as it holds onto the top spot, fighting off competition from Call of Duty and Battlefield.A lot of the top 10 stays the same this week with No. 5, 6, 7, 8 all non-movers. But there are two re-entry's in the top 10 - Mario Kart 7 (climbing 3 places from No. 12 to No. 9) and Forza 4 jumping one place back into the top 10.
There are no new entries in the top 40 this week due to it being the first week of the year, but we must mention Star Wars: The Old Republic. The MMO came in at a respectable No. 10 last week, and this week has plummeted all the way down to No. 38. That's a 28-place fall.
